There can't be anything dreamier than having family photos taken on the beach in Mexico. Oh wait.. except perhaps if your new home is right ON the beach in Mexico! This beautiful family had recently moved from Seattle to San Pancho, Mexico for 2 years. And don't they look like it suits them beautifully?
Do you remember baby Knox? He was so tiny! I was so excited to see him again and look how he grew! These guys are just the sweetest little family. We headed to the beach for a quick photo session and the sky was pretty grey but these guys are pros and we totally caught some sweet moments.
The sun was so bright and the baby so cute! We snapped some sweet pictures around the block before heading to the backyard for a few more. Doesn't he have the most gorgeous little grin?!
I love watching this beautiful family grow!
So this totally happened quite a while ago, but sweet baby S turned 1! And we headed to the lake to take some pictures and it was of course the sweetest thing. Meeting this boy when he was just a few days/weeks old and seeing him grow up has been so cool. Look at his bow tie! His little cake! His happy icing-covered face! Just too much cuteness.
My favorite thing about this shoot was when I asked if things were crazy now that they had a 3rd baby and both parents laughed kindly and said that Gwendolyn is like their vacation baby (or something to that effect), saying that they feel like they can finally sort of relax now with her here. And they definitely seemed madly in love with their gorgeous new little girl but still managed to be so attentive and patient with their 2 other children. Oh they made it look so, so easy!
I know exactly what it's like because this is my world right now too. And so when I was like 'is it OK if I show up at 930am instead of 10am', I know exactly how much they probably hated me. But of course they didn't let on that they did and if anyone can pull off minimal sleep with a newborn and still look gorgeous and glowy, it's Emma. Their new wee boy is just delicious and the cute big sis/baby bro combo is just my favorite thing ever right now. These crazy days feel like a lifetime but they really go by so fast! Here's a snapshot of now for this beautiful family of 4.
It was the very weather you would expect of Seattle, except the weather had been so wonderful and NOT typical of Seattle lately that it made the grey and the rain very unexpected and quite annoying. The energy of this family is anything BUT grey and boring though and so we made the most of some limited light peeking in through the windows and I tried my best to capture the sweet and playful nature of this family in their gorgeous home.
A beautiful family in Auckland, NZ.
